Balinese Traditions

Existing traditions of Balinese society in the rural areas very supportive to the development of tourism on the island of Bali. Because of the tourists visiting the island of Bali can witness the traditions and culture of Bali. Where foreign tourists may seldom see such traditions on the island of Bali. Friendliness of Balinese people will make the tourists visiting the island comfortable.

One of the traditions of Balinese society which is still maintained and preserved is the water control system. This farming system, particularly in rural areas are still traditionally. Start of work on paddy fields until the harvest is done traditionally. And looks a farmer in Bali which was working on his rice field by using a traditional tool called matekap. They are working on paddy field by using two cows, with passion, a middle-aged men working hard under the hot sun and sweat pouring down their body, such as feeling tired regardless of how they feel. When harvest time arrived the women will work together to harvest the paddy that is called with manyi. From morning till evening they worked in the fields to harvest their rice yield. dozens of adult women and men working together. At recess they occasionally joking to eliminate fatigue.
